    Default Fun little stocking stuffer

Had been saving a few toilet paper cardboard rollers the past month, 10 in all. That cardboard hadda be good for something, right? lol

So I took those rollers, put in 2 small candy canes (box of 100 for $1 at Wal-Mart), and some various chocolates (made into santas, balls, squares, and peanut butter cups. Big bag for $2.97 at Wal-Mart) to fill it up. Then I took a single piece of tissue paper, the kind you wrap gifts inside of boxes or gift bags (pretty cheap by the paper), folded it in half lengthwise, taped the long end to the cardboard (for easy rolling), tucked in the first ends so the candy would't roll out and left the rest out, rolled it all the way up, pinched and tied the extra ends with thin gold ribbon and 'voila!! A big Tootsie Roll looking pretty piece of candy filled with Christmas candy made for pennies a roll. Still have plenty of candy left, ran out of carboard rollers. These can go in stockings or gift baskets, or just a pretty cheap present for many.

Can't remember where I read something sorta like this, the TG maybe. Thought I'd give it a go and give yall the results.

    Bring on them baby steps...
    Step 1: done
Step 2: waiting on amount, hubby had followup colonoscopy, I had visit to ER with followup procedure
Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
    Step 5: grown child
    Step 6: huge mortgage ANNIHILATED!!
    Step 7: ahhhh....

my mom did this for cheap fun kids gifts..like for neighbours of children of friends, the kids are awestruck, instead of a toilet paper tube..she used the wrapping paper ones....she bought the candy after halloween at 75% off and a few candy canes and little match box cars if cheap enough and filled them...not too full....and wrapped....with that always too narrow last strip of paper and it looks like a giant tootsie roll...they LOVE it...gift must cost about a dollar i'd think if even
