I'm having a superbowl party
Mind you I know nothing about football, dh couldn't care less about it, but every few years it seems to get dropped on me to hostess. This year the couple that was supposed to host has a grossly ill cat so here I am. I went out last night for decorations. I picked up:
superbowl helium balloon, a bunch of silly paper cut outs of players for the front door, themed napkins, and I bought a big peice of green indoor/ outdoor astro turf that I'm going to use instead of a table cloth on my buffett, I might even tape off lines to make it look like a field.
Food:
I ordered sandwiches and wraps, and I have sausage defrosting to do sausage and peppers and one of the girls is bringing a layered mexican dip. I'll probably do hot pretzels, chips, dip etc during the first 1/2, sandwiches at 1/2 time, and dessert of fruit, ice cream and pie after with coffee. Drinks will be beer, soda and water with lemon slices.
WHAT AM I FORGETTING??? I hate doing things last minute--thus the ordering sandwiches. There will be about 10 of us.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Sounds great Kellie, only thing I see missing is wings, lol. But with everything you have coming, you really don't need 'em. Oh, I thought of something you need, someone to root for. So who's "your" team?

I agree with Michelle....I love the idea of using astro turf and taping lines on it to look like the field.
Have fun.
