Smile Do you decorate for Halloween/Fall?

I used to when the kids were younger. Nobody here to really see the decorations except the birds, chipmonks & squirrels & I don't think they care much, lol. I do have a few scarecrows here and there in and out and will be getting a pumpkin or 2, cornstalks & pot of mums for outside. Fall decoration is already on the door.

    What about you?

I do a little. No real "Halloween" decorations except for this light up Jack-o-Lantern that my mom gave the kids last year. I have a small stuffed scarecrow that I hang on my mailbox, some fall leaves garland that I put on my mantle, and my fall tablecloth & table runner.

I used to put pumpkins on my front steps, but the squirrels eat them!!

I love to decorate! Have several stand wreathes plus some blank one to make as needed. DD and I went to craft store to get some supplies for a school project and came home with a few new items for the fall wreath, 4 pick scarecrows and a new bunch of fall flowers. Also have several different vases and fake flowers for front porch. Have also added a new pumpkin to my collection. It was agift from a neighbor who DH helped with a dead tree problem. Most of my decorations come as either gifts from folks or from yard sales or thrift stores. We have a shelf in my office with computerpaper boxes where household decorations are stored by the month. Its a girl affair to get the new monthly box down and decide what to put up and out this time.

I only change the front door wreath. I used to go all out with decorating but now I just do minimal decorating since the children are all grown.

Yes we do. At the end of September I put pansies, mums and pumpkins on the front porch. About 2 days before Halloween we will put out a ton of cobwebs as well as some light up pumpkins. We hang scary witches and skeletons in the trees out front. Tomb stones out in the front yard. We also have a fog maker and strobe light we use on Halloween night when all are out trick or treating. I line the driveway and side walk with lit votive candles. Add to that some scary music and I have some kids that won't come to our house. Last year I turned the music off so a group of small children would come up to the porch. It's a fun night, except for that one year our cars got egged. LOL!

Lots of Halloween decorations when the girls were little. Now I do mostly fall decorating that will take me through Thanksgiving.

yeah ive been collecting halloween stuff for the last 14 years.
(Inside)I have ceramics with tea lights in them, in shape of ghosts. lots of paper ghosts, skeletons the large ones with moveable arms ans legs, witches; sensor witches that came on sale for $2.00, that make noises, pull pou paper chains for the ceilings, lots of clings for every window and to put on stove, fridge, etc. ; lots of leaves, greenery to put on top cupboards with lights orange ones and pumpkin lights. Im a halloween lover and especially christmas lover.
