HELP! Baby Alive!
DD wants a Baby Alive for Christmas, and apparently I have NO idea what that is! I need to watch more TV!
I haven't seen any in stores, although, I have really been in too many stores lately.

Oh my gosh, I didn't realize they made Baby Alive anymore. I had a couple in the day. It is a doll that you can feed with a packet of add water to the mix food, and it drinks from the bottle (you put in the water) and it goes potty and you have to change it. I think it also moves, and it uses batteriies. I hope this helps you.
taking one day at a time, trying to get rid of debt!!

DD had one when she was small. It is a cute doll that eats and poops, DD loved hers. Here is a link to the Hasbro site with some information about it.

I've seen them at Walmart, target, & toys r us. I had one many years ago also. I loved her. The new one looks a bit odd with those huge eyes and head.

You might also look at Baby Born. http://www.zapf-creation.com/com/eng...born/index.php
My girls got one last year. It does NOT use batteries. And it looks like a normal baby doll.BABY born® enables a particularly realistic role play of mother and child. No batteries are required for any of the eight life-like features: she can drink, wet her nappy, eat and use her potty, cry and squeak, is very flexible and may also be bathed.

I was like everyone else. "They still make those!!??!!" I had one when I was a child. When I saw them advertised, I couldn't believe it. I think they are a good bit more costly now than then. LOL! But, that WAS 30 + years ago. LOL! She does look different though. Not so realistic as the one I had. The first time I saw the advertisement.....the song popped back into my head. "Baby Alive, soft and sweet, she can drink, she can eat." Weird the things you can remember.

I havent seen one of those in years. I didnt think that they were still around.
I an older kid when they first were out. My younger cousins all had them. They were pretty cute though. I would call around to toy stores first. I dont venture into toy departments much anymore, I think calling would save some footwork.

I don't think that she is getting one here either, I got her a cheerleader doll, and Cheerleader Challenge, she really wanted that too.
