Are you doing anything special for the long weekend - Labour Day?
Do you have any special plans made for the Labour Day weekend or is it just another long weekend?

Unfortunately our plans aren't anything special. Dh was not supposed to be working this Sat. but one of the employees quit this week and of course it was that guy that was supposed to work this Sat. so dh is stuck with it now. *sigh* I had planned for us to go furniture shopping for ds's bedroom on Sat., but that won't happen now - maybe on Monday if the store is open (probably will be). Other than that we'll just hang out on the beach or in the pool if the weather permits.

We usually go camping on holiday weekends. Very primitive on the river not far from our home. (The guys dug a well and put a pump in last spring, so we don't have to haul so much water now, just for drinking!) It hasn't been as fun this year since we had a new baby in January. (need to scan some photos of her) Dh has pneumonia, and I'm hoping he'll stay home and rest.

If Gabe is feeling better we're going to The Renaissance Festival. We went last yr same weekend. They have great activities for children. (crafts, petting zoo) I enjoy browsing the artisan booths.

My best friend since I was 7 is coming into town from San Francisco, so tonight the 5 girls (all of us close since childhood) are going into NYC for dinner. (Not frugal, but she's only in town once or twice a year) Then tomorrow we are having a barbeque at her parents house to celebrate her sisters engagement and our friend Kim's 30th birthday. Sunday, we are going to my FIL for a barbeque and then on Monday, my mother is babysitting and dh and I are going to dinner and a movie. Not a frugal weekend, but my last hurrah before school starts and I head back into the classroom.

I have 2 mystery shops to take DH on this weekend, so hopefully we'll be able to make a day of it on Monday. Saturday DH is taking us to Granite Run Mall in Media, PA. There is a baseball card show, and us girls like to shop! LOL! I promise I'll behave!
