Default For those who are cooking for T-Day, have you prepped much today?

OmgI have been cooking since 9 this morning. I have cooked my turkey breast in the crockpot, it's cooling now to be sliced and put in fridge. I have made my mamma's cornbread dressing and baked 4 pumpkin pies and 2 pecan pies. The beans are in the crockpot now to cook all night, the pink stuff is made and in the fridge along side a cherry cheesecake. I need make the tea, whip the cream and make the mashed potatoes and put together the relish dish is all, tomorrow. I'll reheat everything ofcourse but hey, that's the easy part. Dd#1 is bringing the honeycrust ham, we'll heat that up and dd#2 is bringing some dinner rolls to be warmed up. Otherwise we're pretty close to being cooked up. Have you prepped your Thanksgiving dinner today?

Aww, big hug Lisa. You know the way I am, very relaxed. Only thing going on here is the turkey is thawing. To me it's pretty much like any other dinner, just a bit more, lol. Sis is bringing the desserts so it's all on target here.
Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!!

I took off work early today to get a head start on Thanksgiving dinner. I've made my chocolate layered desert, coconut cake, pumkin pie and pecan pie. I got my cornbread baked for my dressing. I getting ready to dice my onions and celery and put them in fridge. I might get the broccoli casserole made and put in the fridge If I hold up, but it might just have to wait till in the morning.

~I've been baking most of the day, too. We're going to my mama's house and we're bringing the butterhorn rolls, pumpkin pies, chocolate chip cheesecake and cranberry relish. I also baked 3 loaves of bread to put in the freezer. And since I knew I'd be hanging out with family for days and neglecting my housework, I started putting in two extra hours of housework 3 days ago. The laundry and dishes are caught up, the beds are freshly made and the rooms swept and dusted. I'm soooooo ready for this holiday to begin so I can relax! Happy thanksgiving everyone! ~
