Ideas for Tyler's room...
I decided what I will be doing Tyler's room in.

Hotwheels/Matchbox cars are his absolute favorite toy... he pushes them around day in and day out.
The other day I caught him pushing his car on the walls all the way around the room.
Soooo.... I have decided to paint his room a solid color and then paint a little road all the way around at his level.
Any other cute ideas out there to tie in with this??Sherry

oh my god that is such a cute idea. That is what i was thinking, but make a gravel yard thing, sand pit that is it so he can drive his little trucks there, and do a little stream to drive thru. (over) and trees he needs those too on his walls.
then for his bed make cars and trucks and roads too out of fabric, oh how cute this will be.

I think it is going to be cute.

Just need to come up with some other decorations to tie in with the road/car thing.
Wonder if I can get pictures of Hotwheels/Matchbox cars online and print them and frame them?Sherry

You know... my nephew has a rug with roads on it that they bought. I was thinking of getting Tyler one sometime... I never thought of painting one myself.

Here are some links to Hot Wheels Posters.... Copy and paste them, print out and make frames out of fun foam and hang in his room..... Have Dave design and build a car bed..... You could do one from plywood and some 2X4s for frame work and paint...

You can make a steering wheel pillow-just a round pilow with black and white inserts to mimic a race car wheel. Can also look into getting a real stearing wheel, hubcap, racing flag etc from used parts store and use for up high out of reach wall decor! Great theme! Run with it, it will stay age appropriate through the next few years for him!

Thats going to be cute!!!!
I think I've seen some car fabric.I know they have NASCAR fabric.I made jackson a valance from Dale Jr fabric
They also have the black and white flag fabric.
I was gonna say you could glue the cars on the track (on the wall) but he may try and pull them off and the paint come with it lol
Good ideas though! You'll have to post some pics when you're done
