    Default Decision made on the couch!!!!

    Well after much deliberation on a couch we decided on a beige microfiber one last night. After talking to the salesmen at various places and getting input from people that have microfiber (including some helpful villagers ), the microfiber one makes the most sense. I've attached a picture of it. The picture makes it look kind of dorky. It actually took me a long time to figure out this was a picture of the couch I was looking at. It also fails to show it's depth. If you pull the back cushions off it's very easy for two to curl up together and watch TV. It looks much better when you see it in a showroom. I'll be posting pictures in the next week or two of our finished living room, so you'll get to see it in a better setting then.

    I like that pic of the couch. It looks really nice! I miss my couch that had detachable cushions. The one I have now, the cushions are permanent and Dh can't lay on it together!

    Congrats on the decision! Picking out new furniture is always hard!

    Microfiber is really resiliant too! When I had my used furniture business, I had someone bring me a microfiber couch & loveseat that had been sitting in a garage for 2 years! DH and I spent 2 days disinfecting that thing and every single stain came out, really easily. It was a gorgeous set when it was done. DH and I kicked our selves for not taking before and after pics of it!

    Anyhoo, you'll love it!

    Congrats on the new couch, I'm sure your going to love the microfiber one. That exact couch was in our top 3 and almost got it but got a steal on the couch and loveseat we bought instead. That couch is really roomy and you'll definately have enough room to cuddle with your dh.

    Oh that couch looks mighty comfy! Enjoy it. And how the heck did I not know about the home decorating forum...maybe I should poke around in the corners of the forums more often.
