I love the water colors in a bathroom. Think a real pale blue/green.
Add a splash of yellow or lavendar. Very clean, and crisp.

~My bathroom is all white tile so I don't have a ton of experience with bathroom color schemes. But when I was a teenager, my mom used light colonial blue with a light/medium tone wood in our bathroom. The combination didn't seem to be unflattering for vanity purposes.~

I really like a light lavender color in my bathroom.

Two of our bathrooms are the same color as Tracy's and our 3rd bathroom (which we are in the process of remodeling) is painted jonquil which is a very rich (tuscan) yellow color. We have hickory floors in there and we are trying to decide on a vanity color now!

This is what we've just started doing....the walls are almost done...then all trim, doors, mirror frames...etc..will be distressed white. Kinda...beachy/shabby chic.

I like the idea of wood trim distressed white. I bought a basket for the counter distressed white. Do you have an A J Wright store near you? I have no idea if you are interested but I just got a toothbrush holder, cup, soap dish, for $1.99 and a pump soap container for $2.99. Shells all around the outside. I've been slowly collecting and now dh needs to get some time to paint. We don't have alot of wood trim in the bathroom. Are you only distressing the inside of the bathroom door? My mirror is huge and has no trim on it.

    Thanks,

    Pam
