Bathroom Colors?
Okay, so onto the next color question

When we moved in, I painted our full bath an apricot color, thinking it would be cool and refreshing. Truth? It completely washes us out in the mirror and is not particularly attractive to look at.
So, I'm wondering, what color would you paint bathroom walls? The wood in there is a light to medium wood color and the sink top is a gray/almondy color.
What do you think is a nice bathroom color?

I like a sand color in the bathroom. It enhances the complextion and I need all the help I can get! Seriously though, anything soft is really nice.
You are really going to be a painting machine!

Thanks! Later on is the floor. I have noticed that the color is not too dark and not too light. I think any tan/beige color looks great in bathrooms... large or small ones too!

I like the color. Nice job!!
But then anything in the peachy colors is okay with me...it being my favorite color. I am hoping to get my bathroom painted this summer......a peach. Should I reconsider?
Are you seriously thinking about changing it?

I have an americana theme in my bathroom, and when we first moved in, I painted it a brick red color. It was a bit dark, but we have lots of natural light, and a huge bathroom, so it actually worked. I had it that color for about 6 years. The only bad thing, was that the dark walls, attracted every flick of toothpaste or water splash and constantly looked "dirty".
So I recently repainted. I picked out 2 light shades of blue, and did the opposite walls in coordinating colors. So if you were standing at the mirror, the walls to the left and right were a really light blue and the walls to the front and back were a bit darker. It turned out really, really cute!

One of my bathrooms is a tan/beige and then my other is a sage green. I have white cabinets in both bathrooms. I love the contrast of the white with the colors of the walls.

Our 1st bathroom has light grey/silver with just a hint of plum in the color and the bottom half of the walls are a deeper color of the same shade. It is a lovely color combo but hard to describe. We have a really rich looking border in the middle that is very textured with silver leaves.
All the accent pieces in there are chrome, silver,, plum a little black and a little white. The floor is silver/grey and white diamonds with bits of black and a darker grey.
We get more compliments on that bathroom looking elegant. I used to have it really girly and dh protested so I changed it
Our second bath is my fun bath. It is bright yellow with a rubber ducky border and theme.~July 19 saving goal for event $104/$1000

Wish I had pics, like FrugalMom. Several years ago, I got a coupon for free paint. I got a gallon of AppleGreen. Painted all the walls and into the ceiling about 2 inches of AppleGreen. I have a really high ceiling in there and the entire room is only 6' X 12'
When I told my son, who lived with me at the time that I was going to paint the bathroom, he said "No red, yellow, brown, blue or black". Ha! He was surprised at the bright green. It's almost like lime green.

We just redid our bathroom last summer and I still love it. It is a pale pink paint with white wainscoating on the bottom half of the wall. My medicine cabinet is white with a big mirror and the shower curtain has a pink liner with the curtain itself having all different colorful bright flowers . It is bright and airy which is great since the bathroom is tiny . My dh loves it to even though it is pale pink. He had some reservations about pink . I didnt intend on pink when we started out either. I had a dozen or so paint chips in there and we were all drawn to this one so we went for it. I would post a pic if I knew how. Good luck! Oh and all the trim is in white. Dh put up crown molding there and it looks great painted white.
