Question Cost for New Hardwood Floors/Installation?

And before anyone suggests it, I do not want to do it ourselves.

I'm looking for a ballpark figure/sq. foot. Also wondering what other costs I'll need to consider as we currently have carpeting down (no hardwood underneath, unfortunately) such as the carpet removal.

    TIA

We are looking into hardwood floors; but we are going to do it ourself. If you measure your room from wall to wall and go to home depot or Lowes they will give you a price. Also depends what kind of floor there are 2 thicknesses and then there is fake stuff. We were told if we got the thinner stuff and we needed to refinish it down the road we could not because it would be too thin to sand. We are looking into getting the 3/4" thick. Not sure if you wanted this much information w/o prices.

Mahalo for asking Michelle as I was wondering the same myself. It will be interesting to compare prices later!!
