furniture rearranging musings
i am just thinking aloud. no need to respond unless you want to...

when the elderly bird dies, the LARGE bird cage goes out and the computer desk will go in its place. now that i have wireless i can put the computer table anywhere i want.
when the elderly bird dies, the chest freezer that the LARGE bird cage sits on will become the cleverly disguised sofa table.
when the HUGE elderly tv dies i will buy one of those flat screen things and move the battered mahogony tall secretary to its place as an entertainment center. put the flat screen tv inside and move the dvd/vcr player and u-verse box inside.
where the china cabinet is/was i want a grandfather clock, the kind with weights and westminster chimes. this is a pipe dream. we'll see.Last edited by ladykemma2; 05-16-2010 at 08:45 AM.
11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

Congrats on finding your clock!
I love musing on how to arrange the apartment, and move things around more often than I should. The computer is my problem. I have dial up at home and the two phone jacks are in a difficult and an impossible place (would you believe directly over the stove for one of them? Who designs these things?).
The other one in the bedroom is in the corner where a table would block the door. So I have th computer table on the "catty corner" wall and just string the phone line across the floor in front of the door when I want to be online, and try to remember it's there so I don't trip over it coming and going from the room, breaking my neck and pulling the computer off the table in a terminal crash.Donna

She could trip over something resulting in another terminal crash. (Sorry - I hadn't even noticed the pun. It was bad. Pity the old pillow over the face option doesn't work on electronics.

seriously. the ancient tv is a behemoth. it is about a cubic meter. but it ain't dead yet, so i am not going to fork out money to replace it.

Hi...,
Nice idea..
You should be first of all briefly explain your locations of the room. But that i understand your problem i think the bedroom should be in the corner where your table block the door.
