Thank you everyone. Trishagirl I love your turkey's on the table. What are the heads made out of. I love doing crafts and that would be a cute project.
Everyone loves those cabinets when they see them. We redid them a couple of years ago. They were simple plywood cabinets and we add molding on the doors, a shelf to the header, painted it all red, added new hardware which I got an awesome price on, new knobs and all for less than $100.00 since we did it all ourselves. Its been great and held up so well. I have so much display area now with the shelf all around the tops of the cabinets. In the next couple of months we are putting in new butcher block countertops. That is all we like to have the entire kitchen remodeled from floor to ceiling.
We even redid my bathroom vanity in the red too and it looks so good. Putting a new countertop in there too. Its been so much fun to see the progress we've made.Wife of Danny for 28 years...the love of my life and my best friend..

My den has burnt orange, reds, greens, and plum year-round. I put a fall leaf garland on the mantel, coil another one around my candle holders on the table and add faux pumpkins, and put a small orange/yellow berry arrangement in the kitchen. I also hang a autumn-looking towel just for decoration on my oven handle. I don't have any specifically Thanksgiving-themed decor like turkeys, pilgrims, etc - it's just "fall." I'd love to decorate even more for the season, but haven't ever made the time.
I put the Christmas tree up after Thanksgiving dinner, too. Some of DH's coworkers already have theirs up and that just amazes me.

I just remove the odds & ends halloween items that are very spooky-specific and leave the rest out. Fall-colored candles, dish towels are the extent of it right now.
I'm not sure if I'll do a Christmas tree this year, I'm feeling very bah-humbug.LDR

I decorate with all my fall themed items at the beginning of Sept. When the first of October comes I get out the happy halloween signs and jack o'lanterns (I don't do scary stuff).
After Halloween is over (Nov. 1) out comes my few turkeys and pilgrims and give thanks signs. I love my autumn decor and don't decorate for Christmas till the weekend after Thanksgiving usually.
