Default Do Your Bathroom Towels All Match

Not the accent ones, but your bath/shower towels? Are they all one color or do you have a mix of several colors?

All mine are different colors and I would really like it better if all of them were the same color or maybe just two different colors.

My walls are white and yellow so I was thinking either all white towels or blue and yellow towels. Maybe brown and white....hmm

They are just really old and I need some new ones, but not sure what color to go with. I just want them to look nicer in the bathroom.

Any tips? I would cut the old ones for cleaning and probably only by 10 or so. All the same color?

That yellow doesn't look so purty on a computer screen, but it really is. Thinking that would be hard to match in towels. How we chose that color was I saw this yellow soap pump at kmart that I loved and took it to SW to match it for wall paint.

Didn't you say something before about your shower curtain hooks? The style/color?

Yeah, retro colored beads. Blue and white, but that can be subject to change at any time, just like the shower curtain. LoL
So I'm not really going by that. More so the color that would look good with the wall color.

Well, I'm partial to blue. Judging by the color sample, I'd say a royal blue would look nice.

I think royal blue would look great too.

Our towels are all a medium blue and I would really like a change. A few years ago our DD bought us new towels as a gift - and they were the same shade of blue - thoughtful - but I really want a new color - like a happy yellow!!

Never thought of Royal blue before, just a little lighter. Thanks!

What about brown? Do you think a dark brown would look good with a pastel yellow? Yay or nay?

Hmm...I was thinking from the color chip that the yellow was deeper then a pastel.

Okay here's a page of yellows. Which one comes close.

Yeah, maybe a little darker. From sitting in the dark....Teleflora's Lily. But that is the color from SW.

Well, technically, we have many shades of brown/beige/off-white floating around the house. We have a couple ratty blue ones and my sons favourite orange one......

Okay, I found a way for you to see the colors combined, or at least close enough to one another that you should be able to pick the shade of brown that would look best with the lily yellow. Just scroll down till you come to the yellow and brown shades. This should give you a pretty fair idea.

    Towels are supposed to match?

I think it is cool when people have matching towels. But, you know, I am too cheap to have matching towels. When I need new towels, I buy what I can get for a good price. They never match.
