    Default Flags outside your home

I was just wondering how many of you have a flag outside your house and do you change it for the season? I think they are so pretty but I will only fly the American flag outside. I saw some pretty Valentine's Day flags at the store the other day and thought about getting one. They had the smaller ones that I could put in the ground at my front steps- I thought that would be cute.

I have the smaller ones. I bought a iron flag post at AC Moore's for about $5.00 and buy the flags when I find them on sale. I have it stuck next to the stairson my front porch.

We have an American flag that we put out during the day. My girlfriend bought me a small flag holder that you stick in the ground. I'll have to watch for the little flags to go on sale for it. I'm waiting for Spring before I put it out.

We have an american flag outside also. We make sure its lit with a spotlight so we don't have to take it in at night. I have also been thinking of getting a small flag set of "themes" for the end of our garage.

I have a small garden flag by the front steps. I'm trying to find a flag to fit each month. I've been able to get them at Wal-mart or garden ridge, but I didn't find anything for valentines day. I'll have to look at Lowes.

    Daphne,
We have a large decorator flag on the outside of our house, it's a welcome flag with an angel on it. We also have a smaller welcome flag as well, but in the spring I'll be moving it to my backyard.

My husband went flag crazy several months ago. We have 14 flags including an American flag, our state flag, college flags, our kids' high school flag, a Jimmy Buffet flag, a world peace flag, a Grateful Dead flag, a cat flag and a Pooh flag.

I have a few friends that have the neatest decorative flags... they usually pick ones to go with their personalities.
We live in an apt bldg rt. now but we still display our American Flag.
Now that you talk about it... seems like rt. after 9/11 there were flags everywhere but now not so much... interesting, I haven't thought about that till now.
