    Default Vertical versus Horizontal

    Think vertical!

If you live in a house with no closets-or your spouse seems to think that clothes belong on the floor-here's a way to keep those socks and boxer shorts in their proper places. "Choose tall men's bureaus for a bedroom instead of the longer, lower chests that are typically associated with woen's clothing," recommends Diane. Because they're vertical, tall chests hold more than the horizontal dressers hold without taking up as much floor space. And tall dressers have more drawers, which allows you to separate items and keep them organized. Of course, you don't have to be a guy to use a tall chest!

I just saw something on this the other day and thought it was a great idea. We don't have much space and we have the big dressers that take up too much room.
