Pics of Apartment and advice needed! Bathroom
Okay folks...here goes! Here is my bathroom...I love my shower curtain...it has purple and green and beige plaid. But I need something for over my towel rack...any suggestions? I thought about a black/white picture? I don't think a flowery pic would work..

You could do a black and white photo or even a country type of photo or print to go with the plaid of the shower curtain.

If you do use a photo, make sure your frame is sealed really well, I noticed how close it is to your shower. Wouldn't want all the moisture to ruin it.
I love the colors.

Oh I love your shower curtain! How about a mirror with a neat frame? You must be so excited getting to decorate your new place.

Oh, thought of something else, maybe wrought iron candle holders or something along that line!

Something to bring out the colors in your curtain you said there was beige (one of my favorite colors) get something in that color to kinda tie it together. That is my thoughts anyway. Let us know what you decide. A black and white photo would be great there too.

actually floral looks awesome with plaid, BUT
How about these for ideas:

or a nice hanging heated towel rack?
edited to add that these ideas are with removing the stand you have in there now. If you want to keep that, I'd suggest either a hanging plant or some sort of narrow shelving to display some home spa items and maybe some smaller plants. (plant suggestion would be a staghorn fern)

Thanks, I like all your suggestions, but the wrought iron candle holders and the mirror I especially like...I shall go hunt with all your ideas in mind. I am trying to post more, but I am having trouble with cutting down the size of my pics! Stay tuned!

I would definately go with something metal-to mimic the stand below, if you do the candle holder, pick up the colors in the curtain in a nice candle, maybe some silk ivy to soften it just a pinch. That shower curtain is great.

I did my bathroom with ivy vines all over, I even wound them around my towel racks, hot glued thee to the top metal bar of my shower doors, (it picks right off if you want it to). I went to the dollar store and bought lots of them I laid them across the valances of my curtains, around and coming down the shower doors towel racks everywhere, I love the look and it was very cheap. Do they have dollar trees in Canada, even at Michaels with a 40% off coupon, Do you have those???

In a house magazine I saw somebody had collected old fashioned postcards of the beach/sea etc and made a collage - I want to do that!
It looked Great.
BTW love the shower curtain AND the stand.

How about hanging the rack on the wall and placing a big basket of rolled towels under it ??????????

I think I would go also with wrought irron candle holders and I would further decorate with ivy and ferns. Good luck!!! It sure is a pretty bathroom
