Another Redbook Organization Tip
To stop wasting time trying to find things you need, store related items within arm's reach of each other, recommends Barbara Hemphill, author of Taming the Paper Tiger at Home. For example, keep coffee filters in the cabinet above the coffeemaker, and blank disks and extra paper in a drawer in your computer desk.

Excellent tip!! I remember years ago going to an organization seminar and the lady was wonderful. She said the exact thing for your kitchen...to have centres.....baking centre, a place for baking powder, baking soda, cocoa, measuring spoons and such.....a beverage centre, coffee, hot chocolate, drink mixes etc.......and so on. It was really interesting and would save SO much time in looking for things!
Thanks Amy!!

Good tip! and I can say that it has helped me keep the organization at least in my cabinets. I must say that although I keep things that are in the same catagory in a couple a kitchen draws, they do not seem to be kept as organized
