Question Do you have a "theme" for your kitchen or.....

    just a color scheme?

I'm not sure what I have! I love roosters (and do have a couple), but really have some of my tins, red gingham curtains and red/black/white throw rugs. So I guess I have a "red" theme, which I'm thinking of changing.

Watcha want to change to Dee?

I really don't have a theme and my kitchen is small so if I want to shake things up a bit I'll add a new dishcloth, lol. I guess it's a combo of rust and dark greenwith apple/bird accents LMAO.

I do like my small kitchen for cooking though. It's well laid out and everything is at hand.

1920's-1940's is my theme I guess. My stove is late 40's, as is my table. We put in a tin ceiling and I use a lot of antique and antique looking linens and use old canning jars with glass lids for storage. My walls and ceiling are ultra pure white, floor is white/blue marble look sticky tiles. I just had custom, old style wood blinds done in a white/blue bleached wood, I took down my herb print window toppers and haven't replaced them yet.

I have a chicken/rooster theme right now, but I am slowly changing to a Cherries theme. I want to do 1940-50s, and accent with cherries.

I have a "grape thing" I want to start, but so far all I have done is put plastic grapes on the area above the top cabinets (its closed in) and gotten a few towels.

My kitchen/ family room is all one big room... with a dining room table in there, too.

The whole space is in primitive Americana- red, white, and blue, but the red is more burgandy on most things. My curtain valances are quilt pieces that match the quilt draped over my couch- that's probably my favorite thing.

We are redoing our kitchen so right now it doesn't have too much of a theme, but is a Victorian blue and will remain that color. Then I plan on making the rest country!!

Red and blue, apples, chrries, and americana.
Can you tell I can't make up my mind? I wish i could paint the walls as thought I love the blue striped wall paper, it just doesn't seem to match the fruit theme...
