My New Kitchen!!!
Okay, to refresh your memory...here is where my kitchen was in August. The pictures are of what it looked like before it was torn out and what it looked like after it was torn out.
House Beautiful, Here I Come
Now, even though we still have to tile the backsplash and paint the walls, we are done! You'll note the temporary kitchen table because the contractor and her men gouged deep gashes into my kitchen table and china cabinet, so both are at the refinishers at her expense. (I'm furious about this and really can't even go into it right now without my blood pressure rising.)My grampa made the stained glass lamp over the table.
I love my new pantry door. If you can't see it, it has frosted glass and says "pantry" on it.
The blue band around the base of the cabinets is tape from the refinishers for the floor. I just need to pull it off.
However, I'm pleased with my kitchen! The island is going to be a little breakfast bar when we find barstools with backs on them so the kids don't fall off! I've got a great food prep area and decided on the sink and dishwasher being in the island. I love my kitchen!My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com
