Question Am I nuts to try to do this now?

We're still doing the room by room thing.....but have been on hiatus since finishing up our bedroom. I have 2 more bedrooms to carpet and in 1 of them I'll be re-doing the texture and paint on the walls. I've decided that I don't have time to do this now before Thanksgiving especially since we have a trip coming up on Monday after. But in the other bedroom I'm going to leave the walls and just have new carpet laid, order new blinds and have already found new bedding. They *may* be able to do it next week. I'm having 2nd thoughts about it making me feel really rushed to get all that done and some deeper cleaning and prep. for Thanksgiving. I really, really want to get it done....that's the problem........ What do you ladies (and guys ofcourse!) think?

If it will add extra stress right now I would not do it.

I agree with Debbie. No need for extra stress

I agree with Deb and Ellise too Lisa. If it isn't a must because you have holiday guests coming, wait until after the holidays when you aren't rushed.

Your old pal Dar says, relax & enjoy. You've been a busy lady & nothing is ever "perfect".
You've got your loved ones around you, enjoy and take some time for you, the rest of the house can wait.

I think you're all right. I'm going to call tomorrow morning and have it put off. I would love it to be done and over with but I don't wanna stress out b/c of it.
