Too funny. I thought the same thing. I'd try it and everyone would come in and say niiiiiice table cloth.

There are some really pretty vintage prints though. I considered just doing something for my backdoor in the kitchen. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I made my tiedback kitchen curtains out of tablecloths. I priced fabric and found it was cheaper to buy the tablecloths. With 3 different size windows in my kitchen it would have cost me around $150 to buy them ready made. (which wouldn't really fit the windows) And a couple of hundred or so for custom curtains, and fabric was $12 a yard and up. Two huge cotton tablecloths at walmart were $12 a peice. So for $24 I have 3 pairs custom curtains that fit perfectly.
