Default A few pictures of my latest Decorating Flourish!

Here is a picture of a small paper blind I made for our Caravan(Trailer) it had a funny Diamond shaped Window through which the Sun shone and blinded us as we tried to watch TV

So I made the paper Blind to cure the problem & it worked!

    What do you think?

They're both lovely. Are you able to raise and lower them?

They are made from Wallpaper, paper liner, the plain wall paper stuff you put up before you paint or wallpaper over the top

They can be made to go up and down if you can be bothered to thread them with elastic cotton or fishing line and re-inforce the holes

The little one in the Caravan doesn't need to go up and down it is only covering a tiny window.

The one in the Bathroom is just temporary as the Bathroom is the one place I experiment with Window dressings and such.

I Painted and "antiqued" the paper using a variety of colours and techniques ( it's called "messing about" .....)

They are decoupaged and sealed with flexible sealer & then folded by DH who does the "hard on the hands" jobs for me these days

I may move on to do something similar with a door, but I think that will be a bit harder the pleat
