Default When having work done on your house

does it get on your nerves having workmen in your home?
I knew that I didn't like having workmen in the house before but the older I get the worse I feel about it. We had a great crew for the tile, but the laminate crew........oh boy. We had to wait 2 extra days for them to get here and then the crew leader is a real "wise guy" ...... He said that they will have the job done by end of day on Monday......

I think that since I've had my house torn up now for about a month working on it, that this is really why I'm feeling like a nervous wreck as much as having strangers here for what seems to be an extended period of time.

I don't like having strangers in my home doing work, but it doesn't bother me as much when dh is here. So far the only people we've had coming in are people that dh knows (and it still bothers me!).

They must not be cute ones.
Really though, I kwym and hope they are done soon. I always feel like I'm being watched and can't do just as I please. Hang on Lisa, it's gonna be fantabulous when it's done!

I can't stand when people are here doing work, even if they are doing work outside it bothers me to have them around

Thanks ladies....they got the most of it done today.... . The trim pieces were bad so they had to order more---which was reason enough not to do the hallway (even though it had nothing to do with not having enough trim, they just were ready to quit ). I'm REALLY ready to be done and have it all put back together.
