Talking Paint your house, inside and out for free!

heheheh, well sort of. More fun than a box of crayons even! Sort of a grown up colouring book online where you "paint" the rooms or houses and see what looks best.

Benjamin Moore's website, and some others have colour viewers where you can try before you buy.

Naturally it's not anywhere near a perfect rendering but you can play with colours and see how they look together, and try doing new ideas without the cost and effort of a new paint job.

Using a paint by computer system like this means you can narrow down your choices a bit, and start looking at samples.

You can input your own photos and do them with the ben moore site, but I've not bothered. I'm not computer literate enough for that. I just pick one of the rooms that seems somewhat similar and start "painting".

    It's a lot of fun, and I thought I'd share. :-)

Here are the links: CANADIANS take note (and Americans too) Benjamin Moore colours (like our spelling) is DIFFERENT in each country. Not to mention paint formulations.

The Historical Colour range is the same, and the off white range (although the American offwhite palette has some extras)

So for the American Ladies: http://www.benjaminmoore.com/

and the Canadian Ladies: http://www.benjaminmoore.ca/ (you will need to say whether you want English or French.

For Behr, I don't know if it's the same but I've had some fun playing here too: http://www.behr.com/behrx/

these others I've not tried out yet:
    Sherwin Williams: http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/

and their Martha Stewart line also has a colour visualizer. http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_i...int_colors.jsp

I haven't found any other colour viewers online.

Happy grown up colouring books ladies!!!!
