I played with this when we bought our house, we went from an open floor plan to more closed off rooms. It worked out really well for placement of our furniture. At first I had most of my furniture sticking out of the rooms and onto the lawn. lol I then realized some new peices were called for, a horizontal entertainment cabinet was replaced with a vertical and ditto with my computer cabinet. Also instead of buying a love seat we went with a chair and 1/2. All of this was bought before we moved in. When moving day did arrive I knew where every thing would be placed.
