Need advice for window!
I have a huge window on the South side of our house. I need a way to make a curtain, keeping in mind that I have absolutely NO money to buy anything with. I have some scrap fabric (one large bin worth). What would you do?

Well, you could use a solid color sheet, then add some of your scrap fabric to it. That might work.

Basically it is because the room still echos! We have our table in front of the window, the computer desk along another wall, and a pie safe in here. I wish I had a digital camera that worked!!! The window is about 9 feet wide and 4 feet long. There is no one that can see in, as the yard is huge and behind that is trees.

Make a window quilt....roll up during day for light. As for the echo...Hang a decorative throw (if available) on the wall...that will stop some of the bouncing.
I have a huge living room, so I understand the echo...eeek

Crochet would be really pretty but would the yarn stretch? I do like the window quilt idea too, but 9' x 4' is a lot of scraps.

Try a plain white sheet and a box of RIT dye your choice of color. Make the ties first and then you can dye to match.
