Talking So if you pay too much attn to the bathrooms, the kitchen springs a leak

    ROFL or so it seems.

So I'm trucking along, singin a song, getting the bathrooms all gussied up with plaster, paint and a matched set of new toilets (with clean sides and base! see toilet thread)

and the kitchen sink springs a leak.

    Jealous thing!!!!

And not just any leak but some kind of hairline crack somewhere deep in it's twiddly fiddly bowels.

I have stuck a bucket under it, much like one does with a kid with the flu,

and instead of barfing on the carpet anymore, just like a kid when you hand them a bucket, they miraculously clear up, leaving you to clean the carpet.

So as with the sink, the leak dries up.

OK so it's an intermittent thing, but honestly. Pay too much attention to one area and the others get jealous!

Oh my, I can see the movie title now..."When Plumbing Goes Wild"

Please tell your hot water tank & washing machine to not even think about it. Be stern yet loving.

The hot water tank is cowering in the basement corner, silently brooding.

The washing machine is nearby exchanging meaningful glances with the hot water tank.

    I'm surrounded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
