Questions: spinoff of "do you use candles' thread
What are your favorite scents? Do you buy votives, tarts, jar candles, or a different kind?
I have votives, a few jars, and I also got a tart warmer for my birthday.
I love fruity food smells. I like pretty much anything but florals. They make me sneeze lol

I love using scented candles! It all depends on the season. In the fall I love the spicy apple and pumpkins smells, during the holidays its smell of evergreen or sugar cookie. In the winter its
bakery scents banana bread ect. In the spring and summer I like fruits and flowers. I light candles every night. I use tons of tarts, they scent a room quickly.

I'm the same way Michelle, I love almost all the food smells (not crazy about the grapefruit) and can't handle the floral scents because they make me sneeze.
I burn Yankee Candle tarts. Right now I have in Brown Sugar & Spice and everyone who came to the house today for dd's birthday party asked what yummies I was cooking because it smelled so good

I gravitate toward jar candles. I like scents like baked apple pie, cucumber melon, vanilla, and coconut.

I burn mostly jar candles as well!! My favorite and the one I am burning right now is MacIntosh Apple by Yankee candle. I tend to burn that one and Home Sweet Home year round.

O.K. I posted this on the other thread, but I found a better candle company than Yankee or Party Lite, plus the prices are soo much cheaper.
The company is www.ouroldcandlecompany.com. Sometimes, I've found these candles at A.J. Wright. It's really hit and miss there. I love the apple, apple/cinnamon/vanilla, cinnamon, french vanilla, carrot cake, etc. . . The 16 oz jar candles burns for 100 hours, they burn even, and the smell is DELICIOUS! I've been very happy with them. They are sold online for $6, but I've found them for $4 at A.J. Wright. I just checked online and the shipping is free if you order over $72, I'm not sure if there is a handling charge. This would make a great gift. They have a bunch of other candle options. I've never ordered online, but I probably will in the next month or so as I'm getting low on my candle supply and I haven't been able to find them around me.

Thanks Shopgirl for the tip on the candles. I'm going to see if I can find them at AJ Wright. I love giving candles as gifts

Hope you can find them, I haven't seen them for awhile. Although, I have been trying to stay out of the stores lately.
