    Great tips there, Darlene, thanks. I especially like the idea of painting the counters with a faux finish. I hate the color of mine, and I'm going to look into changing them

    Thanks, I liked the idea of pickling the cabinet doors and making a faux backsplash.... Great ideas.

    2012 Goals
    Use the vegetables from my garden and learn to preserve.
    Cut down on all unnecessary things.
    Free is best.
    Get the garage completely cleaned out. Half done-Until BIL and SIL stored their stuff--now back to square 1.
    Make the yards nice-weed, mow, plant, flowerbeds,etc.
    Stay home more/eat out less if at all.
    FIND A NEW JOB!!!
