    Default Kids bedrooms...

thought i'd share my kiddies rooms. I decided to do themed rooms for them, Jamies I did last year, its an army /camo style and was so easy ( and cheap!) to do!, I painted the camo on the wall using test pots of different shades, all the camo netting I bought from an army surplus shop and all the furniture I reused by painting it, the curtain tie backs are ear muffs I got off ebay.

Ciaras Room I did this summer, she was staying with her granny for a week while I was at home and we had planned to do it then, she had no idea we were doing it so it was a huge surprise when she got home!. She loves watching extreme home makeover and loves to shout * move that bus* so when she got home we had put a toy bus outside her door and got her to move it, we told her that they were not able to come to Ireland as they were busy but that Ty had sent us plans to work from!

Again it was really inexpensive to do - we recycled alot of stuff we had, Dec built the shelves and converted her bed and I painted furniture and did a mural on her wardrobe and bought some cheap accesories, I made pen holders from pringles pots and decorated them with ribbons and feathers, her desk we built and inlaid a jigsaw into it and them covered it with perspex ( making the jigsaw was the hardest part of the room!)

so heres the photos - may take a time to do them so bear with me!

Wow, those are some rooms! My girls (yes, I did say my *girls*) would just die for that camo wall, and I love the ear muff idea for tie backs
