Question Are you a wallpaper kind of girl?

I love wallpaper but the price is just getting to be too much. I would have Victorian wallpaper in every room of my home if the cost wasn't so high.

I usually like paint, but I do like some wallpapers. We are having a serious issue with the stripping of the wallpaper in the dining room, and we were planning on painting, but we may need to paper one wall. Guess I will have to see if they is completely passe now, before I go ahead and do it and found it it just *isn't* done anymore.

I like it. I have seen some really cute papers in some of the country decorating catalogs.

Nope, I don't really care for it. Well, I wouldn't mind it on my walls if I didn't have to put it up or take it down

I used to like it but kinda burned myself out on it. Now I only have border in 3 rooms and paper in one. All other walls are painted.

The only kind of wallpaper I've ever coveted is a very expensive Toile print which is waaaay out of my league, lol.

Nope, first thing I do when I buy a house is to remove all the wallpaper. I like to paint.

    NO!
I have had to remove enough of it, that I will NEVER put up another strip of wallpaper for as long as I live. That stuff is the devil!!!

CJ, if I could, I would give you all of the Victorian wallpaper I have in my house. Some of it is even cloth

Well I love to put it up, I enjoy it. And I don't mind taking it down, I've got a good easy system.

but from watching Sell this House lots I've come to realize that if we ever needed to sell the house in a hurry, we would have to do some serious fast stripping and painting.

Wallpaper is something that real estate pros are finding people downgrade the house for. That and wood panelling. People aren't ready to strip and paint, they want it done before buying.

So with my paint project in mind, I will eventually come to my wallpaper in the kitchen, and then in the living dining room and strip them down, and paint but I'm saving them for last.

My project being in the order of pretending to get ready to move so I don't have to, and can live in and enjoy my house as if I had just put it up for sale and was saying "oh why didn't we do this years ago".

I really have no preference, but if I had to choose, I'd choose paint, I guess. Easier.
