Default Gripey and I are about to tear into the kitchen

in the next few days. Tomorrow we're going appliance shopping (I've been without an oven for 3 yrs. now... ) and paint for the inside of the cabinets. We're gonna do a new sink and faucet, add a very small hot water heater under the sink b/c we waste too much water waiting on hot water, a new dishwasher b/c the old one has gotten so loud lately that you can't hear the t.v. over it...no joke. And new stove top and possibly fridge. The reason we're going with the new fridge is that our's is over 15 yrs. old and it runs a lot anymore. We can get a tax credit for replacing the appliances but that probably won't amount to much. I do know that we'll be using less energy when we're done though. I'm excited and dreading it all at the same time.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

How did you do without an oven for 3 years?

I hope you post pics when your new items are in place.

I know your excitement and feel your pain all at the same time since we've been doing the same thing over the last year and a half!
