Default What fall decorations are you planning?

    I am ready for fall!

Do you plan to decorate your home with fall items?

I have a grapevine wreath that I keep on my front door
year-round & I just change the artificial flowers, floral picks
etc on it. I plan to re-do my wreath for fall w/ new flowers etc.

I also like to buy potted mums (yellow, maroon, white etc) &
place them on my porch in a grouping. May place them w/ a
potted fern or something so I'll have some greenery too. Can't
wait for the fall flowers to arrive at the nurseries!

Big Lots & Hobby Lobby etc have fall scarecrows therefore I may
venture out this year & incorporate one in my front porch decor.

That's what I'll do outside my house........as far as the inside,
    I'm not sure.

I have never decorated for fall before, but have been thinking about doing it this year. I'm pretty much limited to Walmart as far as craft supplies go because that's all we have reasonable close... But I bet they have some cute stuff too!

I want to do a nice birdseed wreath. I am trying to figure out where to hang it though. I also like to hang indian corn on the door. I love mums, but probably won't be buying many this year.

Here's a pic of kind of what I am wanting to do.

I am always ready for fall. It's my favorite time of the year!

Ditto on the grapevine wreath and the mums. I also change the dried flowers, candles and pillows in my living area and add a quilt to the back of my sofa.

We have a pier 1 clearance store too close here, and a few months ago I picked up 3 small scarecrows that will go on my front porch. I have a 3 foot standing scarecrow that used to go in my front window, but will probably stand next to my front door, I have a mum covered broom from last year, and I want to make one of the gauze ghosts, mine yellowed over the years and I tossed it last year. Throw out a couple of mums and I am done.

I have a welcome mat with fall leaves on it. I also will change my door wreath. I bought some pretty cloth fall leaves at The Dollar Tree and may redo my wreath with those. I also will change the candles on the table and the tablecloth to fall colors. Big Lots had some scarecrows on sale in the paper. May have to go and pick up a couple of those!

    Kathi S,

I just got back from Big Lots as I also received the sale paper.
The store near my house is already sold out of the scarecrows
advertised. I just received my sale paper earlier this week
therefore they must have flown off the shelves! My ad showed
life size scarecrows for $3.99.......oh well.

Hope you have better luck than I do.
