Default those bags that you suck the air out of

i bought a set of six, and put my winter blankets in them , sucked the air out and it cleared 2 shelves out of the linen closet. i am going to put our winter coats in a couple and try to clear that closet out also. any one else use them?

I asked for some for Christmas. Mostly to store our BIG comforters/blankets. I put our large, queen sized poofy comforter in one and sucked all the air out as directed.

Two hours later, the darn thing was just as puffy when I put it in there. They didn't work. At least not that bag. I was quite disappointed.

Mine re-inflated too. I tried storing yarn and bedding in them.

I have used some of these and they all worked with the exception of the one with the hangar that stays in the closet, that one the air didn't stay out of. If you need quite a few of them, I have bought the contractor bags at walmart (they are $10 for 20-25?) and are really thick plastic. You can put your things in them and stick the vacuum hose down almost to the clothes and suck the air out. Just make sure you have your hands around the hose and keep it tight when you pull the hose out. I then twist the bag a few times and tie it in a knot. I have used them to store out of season kids clothes every year to make more fit in the storage containers I have.

I got a free one in the mail a while back and used it for winter coats. It really worked! I was thinking about buying some more, I could use some extra space in my linen closet.

I bought one a while back and I'm pleased with it. I may buy a few more for my winter sweaters.

I bought some from the TV add and I just got them. I am really hoping they will work! I can't even shift anything in my laundry room because of how much stuff is in there! Fingers crossed!

    omg i love those things!

talk about space savers - they are!!

i usually put seasonal clothes in 'em to save space.

but blankets, and all kinds of stuff works.

I use ZipLocs Big Bags, and sit on them to compact the stuff and get the air out. Then I use strapping to keep them from expanding.
