For the most part my day will be consumed by its normal Saturdaysness. I'll be responsible for two of the three soccer gamed today. I do plan on heading to a friends in a few minutes to be some moral support as she sells off lots of her belongings due to thier financial mess. After that those its routine stuff and maybe some time for one of my projects.

I'm about to go running, then I'm going to clean and attempt to make a loaf of bread. DH's band has a gig tonight, so I'll help them load in, then stay and watch them play, and help with load out.

Recovering from staying up until 3am at the drive-ins
I ain't no spring chicken anymore!

We were supposed to be having our yard sale today but rain was forecasted a few days ago so we postponed it. Good thing...the forecast actually said "It won't be a wash out, just scattered sprinkles here & there." Looking out my window this morning, I've decided if they ever do forecast a "wash out" I'm building a boat! If this is not a wash out, we'll be in trouble when we do get one lol. It is POURING!

Other than staying dry, I have to take dd to her sleepover later today. No other plans. There are supposed to be village wide yard sales in another town today that we were thinking of going to, but I'm thinking they will probably be canceled too.

    Rainy blah Saturday!

I just had my shower, now I'm having my cereal and waiting for the 6 and 7 year old boys that I'm babysitting today to arrive.(they'll be here around 7am) After that we will be heading out to deliver our flyers, then walking over to the farmers market to get some eggs. Once we get home I will straighten up the house and then we will be catching the bus(they are free today) over to the church garage sale and bbq. The other family I babysit for is going to be there and I will take the 2 girls home with me on the bus(mom has an evening shift tonight). When we get home the girls will go down for their naps and I will get the twins uniforms ironed and get them ready to go to their final parade for cadets. Dh will take them and probably the 2 other boys over for that. The boys mom picks them up around 5 and the girls mom will be here around 10. Who knows what will happen for the rest of the day. Hopefully not too much

I've had breakfast, I need to shower and get dressed still. Then I'm planning on organizing my clothes closet. This will be difficult, because I don't like to part with things . It seems like a productive way to spend a rainy Saturday. Later today after my closet is under control again, I will go shopping for birthday gifts for my fiance. He's a tough one, so I might just have to wander around his favorite stores until I come across things he likes .

It's a sultry morning here. I have biked and done a quick skim of the house, plus a couple of loads of laundry. I am going with my daughter to some flea markets and out for lunch. Then will have the family over to swim and grill out. Have a nice day all!!

It's only 8:15 here, but I've already planted green beans and canned 4 jars of vege soup. I finally have a saturday to myself. DBF is out of state working. Usually I'm at his house right now (back from the grocery) making him breakfast burritos and lunches for the freezer for the week. Today I'm at my house (first Saturday since I moved in in November!). I wanted to clean out the fridge and I had a bunch of misc. veges, so I thought "Vege Soup". I only had 4 jar lids left, though and didn't feel like heading to the store for just that, so I just canned 2 quarts and 2 pints (I also only had 2 quart jars). Later, I'm going to the hardware store and they have canning supplies there, so I get more then. I have some onions I need to use up soon, so I'll make onion soup. UMMMM!
Oh, and I have to go "baby" sit the big fella in my picture. He's going to be all alone today and he REALLY likes to be with someone.

Today is a rainy and gloomy looking Saturday.
    I have done:
    Made breakfast
Surveyed my car for hail damage (dh is across town at work and per his words-his car looks like a golf ball!!!) My car has one lone hail dent.

    I need to do today:
    Balance the checkbook
    Dust the living room
Vaccumm the hard wood floors(living room, bedrooms)
    Clean the bathroom
Make Jello, Pudding, and Applesauce cups for next weeks lunches.

Gripey and I are at home today. He's outside mowing, weeding, edging, doing 'his thing'.

I've just done a quick weight workout followed by a short, hard cardio....about to have lunch.

Other than that so far I've piddled on the computer, talked on the phone, done a load of laundry, washed my hair brushes and combs, replaced the door sweep on the storm door, made the bed. I'm gonna catch some rays and clean up.... . We're waiting on a dishnet guy to come and upgrade our system (and we're getting the big guns package....we've not had a movie package in a zillion years but now we're adding one). So there ya have it......no huge plans....just lots of piddlin' around the place My kinda Saturday.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~
