What's your patio/deck furniture like?
So, we've been homeowners for 4-1/2 years now, and we still have absolutely no furniture on our deck.
It's absolutely bare except for a door mat. Now that it's later in summer and outdoor stuff is starting to go on sale, I've been starting to look around.
What's your outdoor furniture like? Metal, wood, plastic? Glass top? Any advice on what's most comfortable? What holds up the best?~Amanda~

We don't have a deck, but we do have a front porch and a patio. The patio has a glider bench and two chairs and a small table. The bench is wood and the rest is plastic that I have painted green.
The porch has a wooden bench, a wooden Adirondack chair and table, and four other chairs and two small tables which are the plastic painted green.
I'd like wicker on the porch, but can't afford that right now. Hubby made the bench and my dad made the Adirondack chair and table, so they are special to me.Spiritual:

That's my set, only we have six chairs and no umbrellas. We have tons of HUGE shade trees and couldn't justify spending the extra money on an umbrella. I love it. Super comfy, easy to clean.McD

We don't have a patio or deck. We have a huge back yard

Our outside table & chairs was bought the first summer we lived in this house. So we've had it 4 yrs now. We got it at Walmart and got a GREAT deal on it. It was marked $268 we got it for $168! Glass top/metal frame table w/ six chairs (really thick cushions). It's held up very well. We don't leave it out all winter. We store it on our enclosed back porch. I also got a cheap umbrella base and umbrella that closely matches the pattern on the chairs.

This set
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...atio+Furniture
is the closest to mine. The chairs & seat cushions are slightly different. Not quite so straight edged. But it's the closest I could find. And my pattern is wide stripes.

On my front porch I've got two wicker rockers that we use quite a bit. Our back patio is covered and on it we have a cast aluminum table and four chairs and then 2 easy lawn chairs with cushions. I've also got a little sitting area set up in the back yard with a couple of airondike (sp) chairs. Can you tell we like sitting outdoors

My set is the same as Nichole's, except our table is oval instead of rectangular. Our backyard is woods, so I spent an inordinate amount of time cleaning the table so we can eat outside. (Also, sweeping the deck)

On my front porch I have a wicker loveseat and 4 chairs that I found in the garbage, I refinished them and they are now hunter green.
On the deck we have a patio set complete w/table & umbrella and a lounge chair and also some other plastic chairs.
DH built the deck for me about 3 years ago and I love it!

I forgot about my porches

Front porch has two plastic Adirondack chairs and a small round table.
Back porch has the wicker set I painted & posted pictures of last year. The only other addition is a wicker table that we picked up at an auction over the winter. Oddly enough, painted a very similar color to what I painted the rest of the wicker last summer lol.

We have a 12 x 30 patio (graduates then to 10 x 20 something to go along with the rest of the house)...anyway we have an iron (dark grey metal) table/chairs that rock with comfy cushions/umbrella to match chair cushions...also a fireplace (grey iron as well with pounded leaves decoration in the iron). We also have a grill on the patio too and a bunch of potted plants/flowers. A side walk that goes to the above ground pool...trampoline and playcenter off the patio as well. I love our back yard...instead of going anywhere we head to our little oasis and just kick back!!!Katy

We have a balcony and right now we have 2 white metal chairs. I have seat cushions that I store inside and only bring out when we use the chairs. We have a small wooden table between our two chairs. We also have 2 small benches that would seat one person, but I have a planter of purple oxalis on one and the other one has my cherry tomato container on it. I have a hanging ivy basket, and I have 2 window boxes attached to the balcony rail and those have red, white, and blue verbena in them. In one corner of the balcony I store our snow shovel, and watering can.
