Operation - vacate room - in effect!
I've been in the process of 'cleaning' my craft space for the last 6 weeks. With minimal progress..lol
In 24 hours I have carpet cleaners coming. I can't see the floor!!! I have to finish the sorting(hence why there is so much on the floor), and have this space ready for tomorrow morning!
This is my accountability thread for today.
Anyone else need to do some crisis cleaning??? LOL

~I really should be in the kids room crisis cleaning but I spent the morning sewing instead. While making my son's bed up with new sheets I noticed that one of the kids had spilled a large amount of dry cereal behind alot of the furniture. I need to almost completely empty the room to thoroughly vacuum and scrub it down so it won't attract mice. I plan to let the kids play some educational video games this afternoon while I work in their room. It's a big job so I'm procrastinating.~

Ok, we had a 2.5 hour power outage, so I'm only updating now..lol
It was beneficial, no distractions with no power. Even lunch was easy. Sandwiches..lol. No power no cooking. I could use the bbq if I really wanted to but I didn't want to.
So, in about 10 minutes, I think I'll be vacuuming. Not only did I clear the floor~! But I've started organizing the shelves and bins. Every one I had in care is now at school, due tot he power outtage, I contacted my drop ins and told them not a good idea as I'm stuck with no power, and in an emergency, I have no access to a vehicle, garage door opener and no easy way to open it!
In about 1.5 hours this room is going to be awesome

Oh do I know what you are talking about. I had a scrapbooking room that I couldn't even find the counter. It has taken me 2 days of work but I can now set down and scrapbook and make cards again. I don't know how it gets in that kind of mess but it sure does. I am glad you got yours done so you will be ready when the carpet cleaners come. I think it is a crafters nemisis.

~I'm glad you got in all done! I never did get into the kids room. But I did sort all my fabric scraps and cut out a bunch of small projects. Maybe tomorrow.
