My basement is organized!
I'm so happy about this! It's taken us a really really long time to get the basement half that isn't used as a playroom into the shape where things are organized. It's been such a mess over the last year or so, what with doing the kids' playroom and dumping everything else into that part of the basement. I've got some stuff to go to the dump come Spring, and we have some leftover building materials and a couple of doors with frames for when we do the playroom's ceiling and change the doors on the basement entrance and the half-bath. However, most everything else is either ready to take to the dump or recycled at the large green bins near Safeway.

Congratulations on taming the basement. After ten years, Dw and I finally got ours under control this year. I know what you mean, somehow a basement is just a natural dumping ground for everything.

Hey! Hey!! Hey!!!
I live in mine
For some reason, mine is a huge mess - yet I am still able to function down in here. I think I need help organizing - and the motivation to go with it. One part gets tidied up and then I move on to the next and the first part gets unorganized again LOL. I feel like I'm going in circles sometimes. What I dont understand, I am removing things and not letting new things enter and it seems just as cluttered! Argh!!
