Default What cleaning are YOU doing today?

I have been doing some winter knitting, and letting my house get soooooo dirty. I am trying to make a dent in it today.

Cleaning dining room, living room, downstairs bathroom, and front door area ---including stairway and banisters. Also sweeping kitchen while I'm at it (always) and vac family room. Ugh. Taking a coffee break here, and catching my breath.

Zero, zilch, nada, except for washing a few dishes, unloading and reloading the dishwasher, and a load of wash.

All of the laundry in the house is clean and put away.

The entire house has been vacuumed.

All of the toilets have been scrubbed.

Dishwasher has been emptied, filled, and is running again after dinner tonight.

~I did three hours of cleaning this morning. Mostly sweeping floors, moving things around, washing dishes and cleaning the bathroom.
I'm having a piano delivered today so I had some strong motivation to make the house presentable.
Right now I'm enjoying the view of a light snow falling outside, the smell of a scented candle burning, the quiet of the kids watching a video, a hot bowl of mac & cheese for lunch and the peace of knowing the housework is done!~

I've done 3 loads of laundry and have swept the kitchen, breakfast room, and master bathroom. Also somewhat cleaned off some kitchen counters and taken out some trash. In a few minutes I'll do some vacuuming. And my desk is a mess and I'll organize it later today while watching the 6:00 and 6:30 news.

Just got through doing some schoolwork---a few lesson plans.

I have done 4 loads of laundry and cleaned my bedroom from top to bottom. It was starting to look like a teenager lived in it. My other priority is the kitchen. We are out of clean cups!

I'm working in the master bedroom which is my project of the month. I cleaned out dresser drawers.....threw away so much stuff. I mean seriously..who needs undies that are stretched out, holey, and just plain worn out? I deserve better, so that was added to the purchase list. I am going through my sock drawer, getting rid of all the ones I won't wear anymore. You can see the top of the dresser...still need to dust it, and the cedar chest is almost done. I am taking a snack break....lol. This has been my focus...but I have done a load of laundry or two, just to keep up.

My dad always thought laundry did itself...

We had company for 4 days, so I've been going through the bedding, vacuuming, and general cleaning today.

I worked until noon. Since I got home I have: swept and mopped the kitchen/dining room, folded a load of laundry, put another load in the washer, did a quick pick up of the living room, and now have a cake in the oven. DS has a basketball game tonight, so other than supper and going to that, I am done for the day.

Sick today (& last night) so I'm taking it easy. Just doing a little laundry. I really need to get my stairs vacuumed, but that will have to wait until I can bend over without feeling like hurling
