Default Been going through some of my stash (aka: stockpile)

Food stuff is the one thing that is under control, however, the non-food stuff has, it seems, always been out of control!

So far, I've "uncovered" 10 hair conditioners, 2 shampoos, 6 bar soaps (2 are being used to make my drawer smell good. ), 2 toothpastes, 1 dental floss, 3 pairs of insoles... I haven't even bothered to count the post-it's and pens that are in the wrong place... 2 large balls of beige crochet cotton, 1 unopened pack of undies, a good handful of those covers for textbooks, 1 oil air freshener for my car, 3 "small" packs of cough drops, 1 sports rub cream for those achy muscles, an Easy Cheese... oh that is food... (sheesh -- so it's mostly under control), 1 package of life savers, 1 package of chocolate shake mix and 1 individual Crystal Light drink mix (guess it's not quite as in control as I thought -- now if I find money...), 6 packages of Cottonelle moist wipes...

Then there's the stuff over there, and over there... this place has really been needing cleaning...

I cleared out my pantry and came up with the same problem. Dozens of things stored in there that had no business being there. Took the whole day to sort out what should and should not be in kitchen pantry. Removed thoise items and rearranged food stuffs came up with a ton of room. Also 2 lists: List number one items we need now List number two items needed for future stock. Glad to have a handle on that. Meal planning will go much better now, as will food rotation.

And it feels great when you use all that "free stuff" and you can see the back of the pantry again....

    I like that:

List 1: Items we need now
List 2: Items needed in the "near" future
List 3: Items not needed for a heck of a long time...

Somethings won't be on the shopping list for quite a while, it looks like...
