Need help setting up the kids

I posted last week I wanted a puppy. I'm ready to adopt. I'm working on earning the money. I hadn't yet breached the subject with dh. As he's been grumbling about our doggie..lol. (she's a little bratty sometimes in his opinion because she minds me very well, and not so much him).

Anyway, he told the kids that if they start doing their chores with no complaints and getting the house in good shape, he'll consider getting one.

SO... since this really fits my plans without me "convincing" him, I want to get the kids organized.

It's hard during the week, dd11 is out of the house 3 evenings this week, ds14 1, dd9 and me 2. Weekends are booked with sports. DD5 goes where i go.

What can I do to coordinate them? I want to make a weekly chart.

But every time I do, we fail..lol. So I need some help on this.

Weekly chart is prob the best way to go to keep everyone accountable; however maybe dropping 1-2 activities to open up some nights and the weekends would help a lot. Sometimes over scheduling children isnt always the best .. this may help them pick up their socks at home and give everyone some breathing space and the time to get things done. Also declutter - it's always easier to keep a tidy home if you have little clutter. Make sure everything has a place ... not sure what else .. we do the 10 min tidy up here ... it really works too ... good luck getting your new puppy

can't drop anything right now, we're busy due to playoffs, it's only another 3 weeks, then down to activities 2 nights a week and no weekends.

I just don't know how to set them up..lol not my forte
