We are NOT moving...

yet. Some of you may remember in some of my posts I have said we are saving money for land and building a house. Our landlord wants to tear down the mobile home we are in and build his office on this site and he wanted to do it this year. Well yesterday he told us not to feel rushed in finding a place (he's a painting contractor and business is slow so he needs the rent money

). If it takes us another year don't worry. Thank God because we haven't saved enough for a good down payment yet and this will allow us another full year to save and then maybe, just maybe we can get what we really want and not have to settle for less.We have been looking for the last year and nothing is out there except one property we really want and the guy who owns it took it off the market for now. I'm praying he won't put it back up until we have the money we need.

Well that's good news I guess! A whole year to save is good! I hope you finally get your dream home!!

Everything happens for a reason and maybe this happened so you will be ready financially and something will come up that you love when you have enough money saved.

Yep, we believe this is God's way of letting us know it is not meant to be yet. Another year to pay off debt and save is just what we need and we are under no pressure to find a place quick. Our rent is very cheap at the moment, the TransAm will be paid off by then, cc's will be paid off, and as long as we stay healthy we will have no doctor bills. We should be in a much much better position to buy land and build.
