    Default My bathroom

I thought I'd just describe my bathroom, feel free to comment!

It's 6 x 8 ft. Against the 6ft back wall is an in-built bath with handheld shower. It has a wall-to-wall shower curtain (Ikea, € 1.50).

    On the bath rim:
expensive shampoo and conditioner (for me, once a week) - half price after rebate
cheap shampoo (for me, once a week) - free with hotel stay on employee rate
expensive shower gel (for me, weekends) - birthday gift
general shower gel (for dh, daily) - bought on sale
cheap shower gel (for me, weekdays) - free with hotel stay on employee rate
baby bath toys - birth gift from friends for dd

In front of the bath, to the right hand wall:

horizontal axis top loader washing machine - the only size that fits in that space. € 400, bought with parents' money, paid off with first salary.

Between the washing machine and the other 6ft wall:

wash basin with oblong mirror and fluorescent light (bought on sale) above.

On the shelf above the wash basin:
    toothbrushes - bought on sale
toothbrush holder, cup and soap dish - set bought on sale
mascara and eye pencil - bought on sale
nearly empty toothpaste tube (for me) - to use in the evening, when I have time for proper squeezing
full toothpaste tube (for me) - to use in the morning, when I don't have time
toothpaste (for dh) - all toothpaste bought on sale, Eurostore or with rebates
shaving gear (for dh) - bought in Eurostore
shaving gel (for dh) - gift from sil
eye make up remover - paid full price, but store brand
cotton pads - b3g1 roll, store brand
facial cream (for me) - Nivea, bought on sale, cut open to get the last bit out
cheap body lotion (for dh and me) - free with hotel stay on employee rate. We don't like it much, so we use it on our backs! (surely, we cannot throw it away;-))

    below sink:
bucket for transporting laundry to wash lines, etc - gift from sister's friend
dustbin - at least 15 yrs old, lined with plastic grocery bag

on floor: rag rug - Ikea, € 4.00

In front of the bath, to the left hand wall:
    metal Ikea rack, holding:
towels - all at least 10 yrs old and used until you can see through them. All were gifts/second hand.
face cloths - bought on sale, because I insisted on new!
washing powders - bought on sale / with rebate, store brand
cheap copy perfume - bought on sale, for weekdays
expensive perfume - paid full price, for weekends
big box with proper fitted lid - to hold stockpile

between the rack and the other 6ft wall (and door):

heater with little rack to hold 4 wet towels - at least 10 yrs old
laundry basket - gift from parents

Have you realized the size? I HAVE to be organized.

I rummaged through my drawers and found that I have a lot of samples, mainly facial creams and body lotions. I put these little foil baggies (most are 2''x2'') in a nice bowl, ready to use. It will be some time before I have to buy facial cream again!
