on your hands and knees?
How do you clean linoleum floors? We rent a mobile home and of course it has linoleum floors in the master bath, kitchen, laundry hall, and at the front entrance. I have always got on my hands and knees to do my floors. Even in my old house when I had linoleum in my 14'x25' kitchen I did it this way. I just like being eye level with the dirt I guess. I have never owned a mop!

Wow that's alot of hard work! I only do the hands and knees thing every so often to really scrub out the corners and around the edges. It seems like mops can never get in those areas good enough!

I can't do the on my knees cleaning like I use to since my joints are getting so bad so I've found that taking a swiffer dry and putting a wet rag with cleaner on it cleans pretty well. I just clean so far and then take the rag off rinse it good and put a bit more cleaner and clean more of the floor. Keeps me from having to bend so much or get on my knees.

Daily I swiffer, once a week I use a steam cleaner, and once a month I scrub the corners and edges really good on my hands and knees.

We have vinyl, rather than linoleum, so don't know if that makes a difference or not. But I Swiffer-dust daily, and then put an old dishcloth on the Swiffer and wet it, and use as a mop. I don't get down much anymore.

I sweep daily. Wash on my hands and knees once a week. I don't like mops, I find that they just push the dirt around.

i sweep weekly. my entire house is tile.
i mop when it gets dirty. hands and knees for baseboards once a year or so.11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

TOO old to do on my hands and knees on a regular basis. I will if I have to. I have one of those Shark steam mops. It doesn't leave a sticky residue like the wet Swiffer does. Plus the smell of the Swiffer gives me a headache.

I haven't gotten on my hands and knees for years. Between my bum knee and my back I might never get up again. LOL! That said, my floors don't look as good as they did years ago when I was scrubbing on my hands and knees.

I usemy swiffer too with a old face clotha nd hot water / vineagr in spray bottle. I will go into corners and scrub by hand but not all the floor. I use to do that years ago plus wax all my old floors in last house we owned. not anymore. tiss their own , I have SIL like that. But now I try to clean less and do other things. But if u can and it makes u feel better go for it.
