Need help with white couch!

We recently received a white couch and loveseat free from a couple. I love them as the cushion and pillow covers easily come off to be washed. But the couch and loveseat itself is pretty stained up. I need some advice on how to get this clean????????? I'm considering setting them out in the sun to sun bleach them. What do you think?

I think you'll have to leave it outside a lot longer than you expect to see any kind of fading on the stains.

You might try spot cleaning with one of those oxygen cleaners. You might try a little hydrogen peroxide. I would not use bleach since you can't rinse it out and it will eventually damage the fibers.

We have a chenille couch that we paid an arm and a leg for (Before being Frugal and I had a job...) But I just took the cushion covers off. Threw them in my front loader with Seventh Generation detergent and vinegar in the fabric softener on delicate. After the spin cycle I took them out damp and put them on the foam cushions and let them dry in the sun by our family room window. I have done it 3 times so far and they look EXACTLY the same as the day we bought them. I think the key is putting them wet on the foam.

I had to wash them because once my 3 year old dumped an entire bottle of syrup all over the couch, then one time he got a dirty bottom on it, and the third was chocolate syrup.....
