I suggest you mosey over to I'm An Organizing Junkie here on the Net. She helped me clean out and get my bathroom in order...and many other areas of the house. I used her PROCESS approach.

Also Don Aslett has a book out called [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Packrats-Only-Clean-Dejunk-Forever/dp/0937750255"]"For Packrats Only"[/ame].

And if you're concerned about paper filing and project planning, I'd look at David Allen's "Getting Things Done". He helped me get my craft studio organized...at least the filing section of it. Now I can find information on projects that have been completed, or that are in the works, or are simply in the planning stage.

For upkeep Flylady is good. I find I don't need it if I have the right system set up in the right place though. things automatically go back where they belong. If I see clutter, it's a sign the system isn't working for me.

Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
