    The bathrooms

    2. Which room/area of your home is the messiest?

    The Utility room/laundry room.

    3. Which room/area of your home is the hardest for you to clean?

My studio. I have to make decisions about what to keep and what to toss. And everything I pick up reminds me of a project I want to do ...but can't get to until I finish other projects already started. It's just an exercise in frustration!
    Cute survey idea.

    1. Which room/area is kept the most neat/clean?
Right now with the house up for sale, I'm keeping it all neat and clean. But usually under normal circumstances, it's my kitchen. I like clean and clear counters, and dirty stoves and ovens and fridges gross me out.

    2. Which room/area is the messiest?
This would have to be my craft room in the basement. I have all these little drawers and such, but....

    3. Which room/area is the hardest for you to clean?
Our lofts are the hardest as they are accessible only by a built in ladder. Not impossible, but it takes time.

    4. Which room/area is the easiest for you to clean?
This would be the kitchen. Because I keep it clutter free, cleaning goes like a breeze. Of course, I have been known to make a colossal mess at times.....

    5. Which room/area gives you a feeling of peace and calm?
My living room. We have no TV in there, but have a wall full of books where most people would put an entertainment center. I guess books are my entertainment. We have comfy furniture, a piano, our books, nice lighting, a great area rug. I love to sit in there and just look out the windows at the woods. I also love our solarium with a sitting area and all of our plants in there. It has great views of the woods, and is good for bird watching in the winter.

    6. Which room/area gives you most pride?
The kitchen again. We custom designed it to fit our lifestyle, with a stainless steel stove with grill, a wonderful pantry, lots and lots of counter space, solid wood cabinets, an extra large and deep sink, a butcher block counter just for chopping items, a mixing/baking center, a large breakfast bar, undercounter lights, lots of storage and specialty cabinets. It's such a pleasure to work in and entertain in. I am blessed with this kitchen.

OOoops! Guess I posted just as you were editing your post. You added three questions on me...

The kitchen...because DH does most of it...the oven, the floor, the dishes. I sometimes do dishes and keep the counters clean. Otherwise it's all just too hard on my back or knees or lungs.

    5. Which room/area gives you a feeling of peace and calm?

My bedroom...thanks to Flylady. I made it my sanctuary, as she suggested.

    6. Which room/area gives you most pride?

Ahhh...none of it really. It's just my home. I guess the most pride/satisfaction happens when people visit, put their feet up on the couch, and pull the quilt down over top them for a nice settling in and conversation. I know I've done a good job when people feel comfortable and relaxed in my home.

We're in a 1 br apt., so there's not much to work with here....

    1. Which room/area is kept the most neat/clean? Kitchen
    2. Which room/area is the messiest? Vic's computer stuff is tucked all over the place (closet, entertainment center, file cabinet)....annoying!!
    3. Which room/area is the hardest for you to clean? This is a tie between the kitchen & bathroom. As soon as I'm done cleaning up the mess starts all over. I do keep them clutter free however which helps.
    4. Which room/area is the easiest for you to clean? Living room/dining area.
    5. Which room/area gives you a feeling of peace and calm? Bedroom with a sleeping baby next to me...
    6. Which room/area gives you most pride? Kitchen

Peanut, here's what happened with my original post: I had it partway typed, and hit some button, and POOF! It was gone! All of a sudden it showed up as posted, but I wasn't finished yet. So I hit edit, and finished typing. Glad you came back and finished the survey.

I like what you said about number 6. That's how I feel in my kitchen. Folks come in, sit down, grab a towel, stir the pot, and just make themselves at home. I love it!
