Weekend Projects Around the House?
Anyone have any weekend projects around the house?
I've been conducting interviews after school each day (we have a few positions opening for next year, and as you can imagine, we've been flooded with resumes...cut school budgets result in many out of work teachers) and haven't had much time to stay on top of the cleaning aspect of home this week.
My weekend project is to whip this place into shape. I'm going to take a few trash bags and go through all the papers that were sent home from school, mail, relocate toys that have been deposited where they don't belong, etc. I'm hoping that it looks more daunting than it will actually be!
I also need to get on the laundry. I've gotten most of it done...it's just the putting away part that I need help with!
How about you? Any weekend projects, whether inside or outside of your home?My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

If the weather cooperates, I want to fertilize the yard. Then I'm going to buy some flowers and vegetables. Our frost free date is May 15th, so I hope to get some tomatoes in.

We have a huge weekend this weekend. DS has baseball, and we have a birthday party and a Mother's day dinner. But in between, I'd like to get the garden fence back up (we are moving the garden), get the stone path back into the garden, get grass seed planted where the old garden was and get the soil prepped in the new garden. Hopefully, we'll get it all done, so we can plant next weekend!

I need to get the rest of the recycling to the recycling center. I also want to scrub my sunroom floor. But it has to be nice out so I can move all of the furniture outside so i can just dump water on it and scrub! The dogs go in and out that way and the floors are filthy! I also want to start washing the insides of the windows, lots of kitty and nose prints.

Pulling weeds
It has rained a bunch this week so the weeds are poking up through the mulch. *sigh* It looked so pretty last weekend--nearly weed-free.
