Expiry dates
It's been quite awhile since I've gone through my grocery stockpile so tonight... after Big Brother (wink, wink)... I'm gonna go through all my can goods, boxed food, etc. and weed out the expired ones.

I went through my lazy susan cupboard about a week ago so I would know what I had to start using up.........
When you say 'weed out'.........what do you do with them?

If the date is within a couple months then I use them up as quick as I can. Otherwise I toss em. I don't want to take a chance of getting sick.
It wasn't too bad, I only had nine outdated cans and about the same dry goods (gravies, etc.,. I do need to keep a closer eye on things tho,If You Find Yourself Dancing In The Rain

I did that a while ago and I had things that had expiration dates in 2007! LOL I don't have that big of a stockpile, I was a little shocked actually. It made me wonder if the items were on the older side when I bought them at the grocery. Well, from then on, I pay much better attention to the dates when I buy things.
